A due date on a Shopify invoice indicates when payment is expected from the customer.

You can configure it as a default date, a specific date, or a term like Net 30 (payment due 30 days after the invoice date). Ensure the due date is prominently displayed on the invoice for clarity.

###### **How to set up the due date & issue date on Shopify Orders?**

* Navigate to the **Orders** section and click **Create order**.

* Fill in the required order details.

* Check the **Payment due later** checkbox.

* Select a **Payment terms** option and choose the **issue date**.

* Click **Create order** to finalize.

###### **How to display due date and issue date on invoices?**

* Go to **Customization** page > **Customize** button on the template you want to set up

* Go to **Overview** section > **Date**

* Enable the **Show issue date** and **Show due date** options.

Here you can choose your preferred date format.

* Hit **Save** button at the end to save all the changes.
